1922: Se funda la empresa por Pietro Carnaghi en Busto Arsizio (VA), Italia.
La primera actividad productiva, se realiza con el forjado de metales y con la fabricación de pequeñas máquinas-herramienta.
En 1938,entran a formar parte de la emrpesa los hermanos iPiero y Angelo Carnaghi. Produción de cepilladoras para Italia y también para mercados exteriores com España.
1970 proyecto y construcción de perfiladoras para la producción de tubos de acero.
En 1973, entrada en la Sociedad de Flavio Radice. Una restructuración profunda, acompaña la entrada en el sector de la producción de tornos verticales.
Participan en la gestión de la Empresa la tercera generación: Marisa, Adriano, Paolo e Piero Carnaghi.
En 1977, nace la nueva Sociedad Pietro Carnaghi Sistemi, que en 1981 constituye ISPA S.p.A., empresa dedicada a la elaboración mecánica de Pietro Carnaghi, sita en Villacortese (MI), actualmente incorporada a la casa madre.
Se comienza con la fabricación de grandes fresadoras de pórtico móvil “Gantry.
1988: abre sus puertas Pietro Carnaghi G.m.b.h. y dos años más tarde Pietro Carnaghi France S.a.r.l., filiales comerciales y de soporte técnico de asistencia a los clientes.
En el 2000, la unidad productiva se traslada a Villa Cortese (MI), donde se amplia la Empresa y se inaugura una nueva nave para el montaje final.
La expansión de las inversiones han llevado a Pietro Carnaghi a tener que aumentar la capacidad propia:
2006: apertura de un área nueva de montaje de 6500 m2.
2007: construcción de una nueva nave, para el montaje y la mecanización de grandes dimensiones. El total de la estructura productiva cubierta supera los 35.000 m2, con con naves de una altura de 20 metos y varias grúas de 120 toneladas.
2008/9: finalización de la construcción y puesta en marcha del nuevo parque de maquinaria, como por ejemplo: :
Una PIETRO CARNAGHI UNIMILL 100 (fresadora gantry de pórtico móvil con 10 metros entre columnas, altura de mecanizado: 6 metros; dotada de mesa de torneado de 8 metros).
Nuevos tornos vertciales con diámetro de mecanizado de 1600, 3500, 5200 mm.
Instalación de un nuevo centro de mecanizado y 3 mandrinadoras nuevas.
Reestructuración del departamento de rectificados con 3 máquinas nuevas y revisión de las máquinas existentes.
2009: apertura de la nueva filial en USA, Pietro Carnaghi USA Inc. con el fin, de potenciar la presencia en el mercado estadounidense a nivel comercial y de mantenimiento.
La familia Carnaghi, fundadora de la Empresa y representada hoy por la tercera y cuarta generaciones,(Giuliano Radice e Stefania Carnaghi), está inmersa en la gestión de la misma y afincada en un carácter gerencial con visión estratégica.none
